Trail Planting in Limestone Canyon

Trail Planting in Limestone Canyon

A brand new restoration project is under way! Please come join us as we convert an old ranch road into a single track trail for visitors and wildlife to enjoy! For this event we will be planting and watering native grass plugs and container plants along the new trail sides, providing a beautiful clear path for people as well as important habitat for wildlife. Spend the day working through grassland, coastal sage scrub, and woodland habitats and visit beautiful “Dripping Springs”, a natural water source dripping out of an earthquake fault and then down a gorgeous fern-covered rock face. This unique feature supports many rare plants and animals in the area. Just under 2 miles of trail needs to be restored in the next few months, so your assistance is greatly appreciated! No previous experience is needed for this event.
