Restoration Habitat – Bee Flat Canyon

Stewardship

Since last winter, with the help from volunteers, the Irvine Ranch Conservancy has seeded and planted over 25 acres of native habitat in Bee Flat Canyon. Most of the seed used in Bee Flat Canyon was grown right here on the Irvine Ranch Conservancy native seed farm! Native plants are beginning to grow but aggressive weeds like black mustard threaten to overtake the new plantings. Volunteers are needed to help maintain plantings by watering and/or weeding. All tools and training, including plant identification, will be provided. There is a lot of area to cover so your assistance is greatly appreciated. Hope you can join us!
