During the day we enjoy the warmth from our closest star, the Sun. When the sun sets for the night, so many more stars come out to shine for us! Let’s explore how our daytime sun helps us to stay warm and grow big and strong on our hike in Quail Hill. Come taste Out-Of-This-World treats as we explore the night sky – during the day! – and get ready for an amazing meteor shower next weekend!

This program is perfect for wee little ones, ages 2 – 6 years of age. We spend the first half of the time enjoying our program’s topic, making a craft or listening to a story, and then exploring the trails with an easy paced walk, suitable for off-road strollers or carrying packs. Parent or guardian must register and attend along with their child.
