Introduction to the Birds in Limestone Canyon

Come enjoy the birds on this bird walk in beautiful Limestone Canyon. We will walk along our trail as it warms up to the summer day filled with chattering birds. Using binoculars, we will explore the tallest trees to the lowest shrubs for our local song birds and soaring raptors. This program is focused on observing the basic mechanics of viewing the birds by looking for the bird’s body shape and size along with their lovely song. Come prepared for a morning of exploring this delightful nature preserve and its abundant bird life. All level of bird viewing is encouraged. Please bring your binoculars, but if you do not own any, we will provide some for you.
