The Flora and Fauna of Weir Canyon

Join us as we explore the beautiful oak woodlands of Weir Canyon, home to a wide variety of animal life including mule deer, bobcat, coyote, cougar, raccoon, red tailed hawks, turkey vultures and many others. We will learn about the native flora of the canyon including coast live oak, sycamore, willow, elderberry, and the many varieties of sages, grasses and wildflowers that sustain the native wildlife. Please remember to bring plenty of water and adequate sun protection. Binoculars are recommended.
