Watching Wildlife in Agua Chinon

Agua Chinon is a wilderness area that is home to a wide variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Join us on this moderately strenuous hike to observe the varied animal tracks and bird life of remote Agua Chinon. We will watch for animal tracks near the wash, a busy wildlife corridor, then ascend on the steep Lake View trail where we may observe red-tailed hawks, red-shouldered hawks and turkey vultures soaring high above. Please remember to bring plenty of water and sun protection. Binoculars are highly recommended.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.
