First Friday Habitat Restoration in Buck Gully

Please join the Irvine Ranch Conservancy to help restore habitat in the Gully! Participants could engage in a range of outside activities including sowing seed and planting native plants to general site maintenance. Participants will also enjoy off-trail access and a healthy workout–all while helping improve their native community! This event will include bending and kneeling and working across steep slopes and uneven terrain. Training, tools, gloves, and chaps will be provided to help protect you from potential encounters with poison oak, bees, and rattlesnakes. Note that this event is held on the first Friday of each month.Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-4 activity on the land.
