Painting in Baker Canyon

Discover the wonderful array of colors that are hidden in the breathtaking landscape of Baker Canyon!  Capture the afternoon light in the hills with your paints, pastels or pencils.  Please bring your canvas, artist tools, and medium of choice that can be carried over uneven terrain for 1 – 2 miles.  Also, please wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and water.  This program is for participants who are interested in creating artwork in the canyon, with zero art direction. Instruction will be limited to a brief history of the area as well as recommended locations to capture the beauty of Baker.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.
