Wee Wonder Walks: Bouncy Bats

Wee Wonder Walks: Bouncy Bats

Most flying animals are birds, but not all. Come hear the heartwarming tale of our flying mammal, the bat, in Stellaluna, and discover how our little bat friend is so different yet feels so much alike to birds. Then, create your own bouncy bat to take along on our nature walk.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-1 activity on the land.

This program is perfect for wee little ones, 2 – 6 years of age. We will spend the first half of the time enjoying our program’s topic, possibly making a craft or listening to a story, and then we will explore the trails on an easy paced walk, suitable for off-road strollers and carrying packs. Parent or guardian must register and attend along with their child.
