Wee Wonder Walks: Nature's Patchwork Quilt

Everything is connected together in nature, like scraps of fabric in a quilt. Each fabric square can represent an animal, plant or natural resource, all coming together in one large blanket of harmony. Listen to a fun tale of how everything is connected; then, make a fun nature’s patchwork quilt to take home.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-1 activity on the land.

This program is perfect for wee little ones, 2 – 6 years of age. We will spend the first half of the time enjoying our program’s topic, which varies each month and involves possibly making a craft or listening to a story, and then we will explore the trails in an easy paced walk, suitable for off-road strollers and carrying packs. Parent or guardian must register and attend along with their child.
