Buck Gully Trail Trimming

Trail Work
Buck Gully Trail Trimming

Join us for a morning of trimming trailside vegetation in Buck Gully. We will be using hand tools to trim back plants that are growing into the trail corridor to keep the trail open for all to enjoy.

No previous trail work experience necessary, just a willingness to work outside and get dirty!

Tools, gloves, water and light snacks will be provided. Please wear long sleeves and pants, close toed shoes and sun protection. A small back pack is handy to carry water & snacks.

Note: Buck Gully is home to a healthy population of the native plant poison oak. Most of it has been trimmed well away from the trail by IRC’s poison oak trimming special forces, but we may run into some on this program. Long sleeves and gloves will help reduce the potential for exposure.
