Bommer Canyon is a great spot for a family picnic dinner. Bring your picnic baskets, coolers or paper bags and enjoy dinner under the sycamores prior to a brief hike through Bommer. The first 30-40 minutes of the program are dedicated to enjoying the dinner that you bring to the Cattle Camp picnic grounds. Bring food that is already prepared. No cooking is allowed. Dinner is followed up by a 1.5-to-2- hour evening hike. Bring water and wear sturdy shoes for the hike. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
