The Great "Catsby" of Fremont

Explore historic and rugged Fremont Canyon by horseback on this interpretive equestrian program. We will look for clues and evidence left by big cats and small cats, mountain lions and bobcats, respectively. Riders will be introduced to the wildlife that roam this area and the clues they leave behind.

You must have your own fit horse capable of traveling three hours in a wilderness setting. This program covers 7 miles with a 1400-foot elevation change. Bring plenty of water for you and your horse for three hours of riding.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-3 activity on the land.
