Join us for a morning of trail work to complete the recent overhaul of of Shady Canyon’s remote Fox Run trail. We will be building drains and removing ruts using hand tools like pick mattocks and McLeods. This program has a difficulty rating of 5 because it includes a steep 1 mile hike in and out of the work site carrying tools. Participants will be rewarded with visit deep into Shady Canyon which usually requires a several mile hike or ride.
No previous trail work experience necessary, just a desire to work outdoors and get dirty!
All tools, water and lights snacks will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots, long pants and sun protection.
Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-5 activity on the land.
