Talbert Regional Park - Pampas Grass Removal Project

Help us enhance Talbert Regional Park and it’s habitat by joining our team of volunteers in an effort to abate the mighty Pampas Grass. Volunteers will be educated on the origin of the invasive plant and its harmful effects on native habitat. Volunteers will also be trained how to properly remove the invasive plant. Sturdy hiking or work boots are highly recommended. All training, tools, and gloves will be provided to ensure your safety and comfort.

Parking will be at the end of 19th Street in the city of Costa Mesa (19th St. and Balboa Blvd.). The group will meet at the vehicular gate to the park, located on Balboa Blvd. (No pre-registration required.)
