Naturalist Notebook Series: Enriching the Restoration Experience

The Irvine Ranch Conservancy is proud to host the Naturalist Notebook Series, which offers a variety  topics to enhance your knowledge of the Landmarks.

Join us this month for a presentation by Matt Yurko, Project Manager for Project Grow, a non-profit project of the California Coast Commission and the Tides Center. Matt will share engaging methods for the restoration activity experience. As stewards of the Landmarks, these methods will provide greater context for the habitat restoration and enrich the experience of volunteers as well as the participants beyond digging a hole or removing a plant.

Registration is required. We welcome volunteers, their guests, and the public.

All Irvine Ranch Conservancy volunteers please register for this event as a trainee to earn continuing education volunteer hours.  Space is limited.

Our Naturalist Notebook format is as follows:

  • 6:00-6:30 PM-Yummy Food and refreshments will be served.
    • Meet and Greet, Volunteers share trail stories
  • 6:30-7:30-Presentation
