Join us for a morning of restoring areas adjacent to Turtle Ridge trail that have been impacted by off trail travel. We will be de-compacting soil, planting cactus pads and applying mulch both horizontally and vertically. How do you mulch vertically? Join us on Monday, 12/17 to find out!
No previous trail work experience necessary, just a desire to work outdoors and get dirty!
All tools, water and lights snacks will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots, long pants and sun protection.
Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-4 activity on the land. This program will involve a 4 mile round trip hike on hilly terrain carrying relatively light hand tools.
