CANCELLED: Vernal Equinox Science Celebration

Interpretive

Bring your homeschoolers to the Peter and Mary Muth Center on the first day of spring to learn about the seasons, the earth’s orbit around the sun, and how to make a shadow disappear. In order to model the earth’s position in its orbit around the sun, we will attempt an exciting science experiment that can only be completed at exactly 12 noon on the equinox. Topics covered will include astronomy, geometry, and physics.

All are welcome but activities will be designed for learners between the ages of 9 and 12.

Minors aged 16 and younger must have legal guardian present at all times.

Walk-ins are welcome, however seating and supplies will be limited, so
registration is suggested.

For more information call (949) 923-2250 or email unbic@ocparks.com
