Better Birding Basics: Birds of Round Canyon

Round Canyon is a gentle trail through mixed habitat of coastal sage scrub and oak woodlands. There is enough shade that it is a pleasant walk throughout the whole year. Join a group of birders as we look for birds typically found in this area, and consider the special needs of birds that are adapted to each habitat.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.
