Start your week with a quieting, peaceful excursion through nature. Enjoy a comfortable seated or reclined mindfulness practice sheltered beneath an old oak tree. Continue with a walking mindfulness practice on a half-mile level trail through a native scrub forest. There is a brief explanation of mindfulness practice for newcomers. Bring a large towel or cushion for sitting or lying on the ground. Wear closed-toe shoes for a dirt trail.
