Mesa Loop Hike

Interpretive
Mesa Loop Hike

Join an OC Parks staff-led moderately paced hike around the Mesa Loop Trail! On the way we’ll talk about some local flora and fauna that call the canyons their home, and take in the striking views that only this location can provide. You will travel through a shaded oak woodland grove, smelling the sweet sage fragrances of the coastal sagebrush, and enjoy the vista of the canyons when you reach the top of the mesa. We will have a chance to stretch our morning legs and wake up with the sounds of the canyons as we leisurely travel along the trails.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.

Please come prepared with plenty (50 oz) of water, closed-toe shoes, sun protection such as a hat and sunscreen. We suggest a sturdy day pack with anything you might need to keep healthy on the trail. Please read our Trail Tips and FAQ for additional information to prepare you for this activity.
