NATURE WALK at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary

Led by Sea and Sage Audubon in partnership with the Irvine Ranch Water District, Nature Walks is a free 90 minute nature walk for all ages at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary. Winter, spring, summer or fall, the 300 acre freshwater wetland displays the seasonal beauty of colors, sounds, and aromas of nature. Under the guidance of experienced naturalists, you will use all your senses to explore this wetland habitat where ponds and native plants interact with wildlife. Please bring water and wear closed-toe shoes and sun protection. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You will be asked to sign a liability waiver to participate. No registration required. To avoid overcrowding, we ask that groups of ten or more make arrangements for a private tour of the wetland by contacting Community Tour Coordinator Jay Miller at jaykeeta@gmail.com. Click here for further information, www.seaandsageaudubon.org, or speak with the Audubon House volunteer at 949-261-7963. Cancel if rain.
