Description

This is a slow paced hike in Black Star Canyon, a two-mile flat trail with a fascinating history, noteworthy geological formations, and a wonderful variety of plants and wildlife. The changes over time in the terrain, occupancy, and flora will be discussed including habitation by Native Americans as well as the wonderful Red Rocks formation. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water and enjoy an early morning hike in this intriguing region.
