Birding Basics with Ranger Portia

Explore the diverse bird populations of Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve with Ranger Portia. From seasonal migratory species to year-round residents, birders of all ages will enjoy a morning outdoors on these informative, yet fun-filled walks.

We will meet at the Constellation Street park entrance. Come prepared for your birding adventure with binoculars, hat, sunscreen and appropriate footwear. This program will be cancelled if rainy/muddy conditions are present 24 hours prior or registration minimums are not met.
