• Wear your OC Fire Watch gear — including your Fire Watch vest — and display your vehicle magnets.
• Park your vehicle perpendicular to the road if possible, so magnets are visible to both directions of traffic.
• Report any situation that may cause accidental ignitions.
• Document as much as possible from your location.
• Watch for suspicious or dangerous activities — report and record them with photos or written descriptions.
• Talk to people, be friendly and explain the extreme fire danger.
• Call 911 if you see any signs of fires or dangerous situations.
• Be a presence to deter any potential arsonists.
