Full Moon Hike in Baker Canyon

Interpretive
Full Moon Hike in Baker Canyon

Enjoy Baker Canyon by the light of the full moon! This moderate 3.5-mile hike starts from the bottom of the coastal sage scrub canyon to gain great views at the peeks of the thick chaparral hill tops. Wear sturdy shoes and warm layered clothing as the cool canyon air is chilly at night. Please bring water and a red-LED flashlight or red-tinted flashlight to use along the trails. Be ready to enjoy the night sounds and smells along with the full moon’s glow!

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-3 activity on the land.
