Description

Join us for a scenic early morning hike from Fremont Canyon up and over to Weir Canyon. The hike climbs steeply from the mouth of Fremont Canyon, passing an abandoned coal mine. We’re rewarded with sweeping views of the Santa Ana Mountains before crossing through Upper Blind Canyon to reach the beautiful oak woodlands of Weir Canyon.

This hike involves several steep climbs and descents and is done at a moderate moving pace of around 3 mph. We meet and end our hike in Irvine Regional Park, parking lot #3, and will shuttle to the Fremont Staging Area to begin our hike.
