Description

Students from all over Orange County visit Clark Regional Park to learn about the natural and cultural history of this area. This Kindergarten trip includes a tour and scavenger hunt in the Interpretive Center where students learn about ancient habitats, a mock paleontology excavation, and related activities.

Volunteers are needed to help support the park staff leading the program. Duties may include helping get students organized when they get off the buses, assisting with craft activities, acting as sweeps, and answering questions from parents and teachers.
The program is anticipated to take place from 9:30am to 12:15pm, depending on bus arrival time. Please arrive at 9:00am for activity assignments and set up, and be prepared to stay until 12:30pm.

Volunteers must have completed Clark Regional Park Interpretive Docent training or have prior approval to sign up for this opportunity.

For more information about this program or how to sign up for Interpretive Center Docent training, contact Resource Specialist Sarah Hoemke at (657)554-7133 or sarah.hoemke@ocparks.com
