Description

Join us the day after Thanksgiving to burn off those extra calories while riding on horseback with friends. Experience beautiful views of Irvine Lake and the Red Rocks. This 3 to 4 hour equestrian ride takes you through Baker Canyon in the Black Star Wilderness Area and up peaks that hold the legends that make Black star one of the most interesting and fabled haunted places on the West Coast.

Equestrians must have their own horse, trail riding experience, and the ability to transport their horse to the staging area. Horses must be fit, able to comfortably ride the distance as described, and be well-behaved in a group. This equestrian ride travels on single-track and wide fire roads. It may include several moderate, steady climbs. Owners of unshod horses, please note that the footing may include areas of gravel and pavement.You must bring your own horse. This ride is not for beginners.
