Wildflowers & Pollinators: A Walking Tour of the Native Seed Farm

Join Farm Stewards for a walking tour of the Native Seed Farm. With this winter’s rains the flowers should be amazing! The nature walk will highlight native plants used in our restoration efforts and which will look great in your home garden. Want to attract butterflies, hummingbirds or native bees? Bees, beetles, moths, butterflies, bats, and birds are just a few of the beneficial creatures that help create a beautiful habitat right in your own backyard!

This program includes a tour of the Native Seed Farm which grows over 50 species of native plants. Bring your camera to take photos of the beautiful blooms and discover ‘Where the Restoration Begins’!

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, hat and sunscreen and bring water as the walking tour takes place outside in the Native Seed Farm. Be able to walk on uneven terrain on dirt paths around the Farm.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-1 activity on the land.
