Create in the Park: Drawing Figures in Costume

Originally dedicated in 1901, this historic building has functioned over the years and still provides services. The original courtroom has been restored and you will join professional artist Dawn Buckingham for an indoor art experience. Live models, in historic costume, will be the focus of a figure drawing session staged in the old courtroom. Dry media only for this session please! Pencil, ink pen, color pencil, charcoal, or markers are all appropriate.

Upon registration, a recommended list of materials is available for you to bring to this free program. No materials are provided, only art instruction. A tour of the property and background of the Old Courthouse is highlighted.
