Relax, Rewind, and Recharge: a guided nature therapy walk

Interpretive

When we open up our senses, we begin to deepen our connections with nature. Join a guided, gentle, and meditative walk in Mile Square Regional Park, inspired by the practice of forest bathing. You will discover the healing power of nature for yourself.

This walk will begin with a guided meditation to help you tune in with your senses, followed by a series of invitations focusing on sense-based explorations. The walk will end with a simple tea ceremony. This walk is designed to deepen your connection with nature, a proven process to help reduce stress and leave you feeling recharged.

This walk is recommended for ages 16 and older.
Pre-registration is required. Parking is $3. Park in parking lot H and we will meet at the entrance to the Nature Area.
Please wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection, and bring water.
A yoga mat or sitting material is encouraged.
Please arrive on time to experience the full sequence of the program.
Expect the walk to be very slow paced.
Disclaimer: fresh brew tea from response source will be offered during this event. Participants are welcome to bring their own tea or water.
