Protecting the Places We Love: A Family-Friendly Event

Join OC Parks staff and volunteers for this free, family-friendly event all about protecting our park spaces by following the seven Leave No Trace principles!

Leave No Trace is a national program which promotes the protection of our nation’s wildlands through education, research, and partnerships. Leave No Trace teaches the importance of having minimal impact on natural spaces when recreating outdoors. Please visit leavenotrace.org for more information.

This event will feature educational and hands-on activities that focus on the habitats found within the Upper Newport Bay.

Registration is recommended, however, walk-ups are welcome. The event and parking are free.

Adverse weather will move the event indoors.
