Exploring Bommer: Habitats of the Irvine Open Space

Join us for a guided, morning interpretive walk exploring the ins and outs of Bommer Canyon and the plant and animal communities that reside here. We will identify and describe the various habitats found within the Irvine Open Space Preserve. Learn what makes each habitat unique and how they all work together for a healthy environment.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-3 activity on the land.

This program occurs concurrently with the monthly Wilderness Access Day. The trails will be available for self-guided access from 8am until 2pm.
