Bird Walk at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary

Bird Walk at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary

Led by Sea and Sage Audubon Society in partnership with the Irvine Ranch Water District, this free monthly bird walk is a great way to learn more about the wonderful world of birds. Did you know Orange County is along the Pacific Flyway, a migratory bird pathway between Alaska and South America? Come experience fall migration with expert birder Chris Obaditch during this free walk around the freshwater ponds and wooded areas of an urban marsh. We’ll look and listen for migrating warblers, waterfowl, shorebirds and raptors. Open to all ages who are interested in bird-watching; children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. For further information or directions, go to www.seaandsageaudubon.org, or contact the Audubon House Volunteer at 949-261-7963. There is no registration required.
