Irvine Ranch Conservancy volunteers play a central role in connecting visitors to the land we manage for landowners such as OC Parks, City of Irvine, City of Newport Beach. An ability to provide leadership, educate visitors, and reinforce our standard of excellence will be needed for your success. We purposely devote a considerable amount of resources to train and support our volunteers. In exchange, we require a monthly commitment of your time, and a willingness to broaden your experience and expertise with regard to a variety of Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks topics.
Volunteers, age eighteen and older, are needed to provide diverse opportunities for compatible public enjoyment of the landmarks by conducting scientific, recreational, field operations, and educational programs. The initial training program requires approximately 35 hours of service.
