Celebrate Cultures in Nature - Día de los Muertos

Discover unique historical tales about the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks as we celebrate different cultures together! Each month, a different culture and celebration will be highlighted, usually with the program presented in multiple languages which will allow for everyone to fully enjoy the beauty of the land.

Come celebrate the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks! We will explore the cultural significance of this festive holiday, make artistic animal skulls to adorn our homes and hear folklore about this day. Then we will hike through Black Star Canyon to discover the hidden creatures that call this canyon home. This program is for participants who would like information presented in both English and Spanish, which will allow everyone to fully enjoy the beauty of the canyon.
