Amazing Plants of the Santa Ana Mountains

Discover the wide variety of plant and animal communities that live in few other places than the specific hills and mountains of Orange County. We will search for rare and unusual plants while we discuss the native habitat. Enjoy stops to observe fossils on this docent-led hike through chaparral with sweeping views of the Santa Ana Mountains and Irvine Lake. The route ascends a moderate ridge, so come prepared with water and sun protection.
