World Wetlands Day Symposium and Family Activities

Interpretive

In partnership with California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the City of Newport Beach, Newport Bay Conservancy celebrates World Wetlands Day with a symposium focusing on climate change, a “Godzilla El Nino,” and their impacts on their oceans and estuaries. This unique symposium will bring together some of the foremost climate experts in the county who will discuss how these changes will affect our critical oceans and wetlands habitats including the Upper Newport Bay. Families can take part in some of the free activities going on in tandem including nature walks, pontoon boat tours, touch tanks and displays. Visit www.newportbay.org for more information.
