Join the Office of Natural Resources, Recreation and Senior Services Department at the City of Newport Beach on a moderate 2.6 mile low-tide hike through the rocky intertidal zone of Newport Beach’s Crystal Cove State Marine Conservation Area. Hikes are 2 hours long and occur once a month on varying Saturdays as they are dependent on weather and surf conditions. Please wear close-toed shoes, bring water and sunscreen, and be prepared to get a little wet! Meet at Little Corona Beach next to Lifeguard Tower #7 to begin the hike. No reservations are required for this free event and participants must be 13 years and older. For any questions, please contact: marineeducation@
