Connecting to Nature Using Art

Art is a great way to connect to nature. Get your artistic juices moving by creating expressions of the environment you’re immersed in. Paint, write, draw, or sketch using easy repetitive art patterns (provided by docent).  We will use “zentangle” repetitive patterns, an easy and fun art style, to connect with the land.

Please bring a lightweight folding chair, a sketch pad to jot some notes and any art materials you can easily transport, along with your imagination. The Naturalist will provide guidance for your art creations.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.
