Exploring Black Star: Birding Walk

Join a birding walk through the beautiful Black Star Canyon Wilderness Park. This month on the guided walk, we will offer an exploration of the local birds by taking a stroll through the Baker Meadow. This short hike will meander through meadow at a leisure pace, searching high in the canopies and low below the brush for the ever-fluttering birds of the canyon.

Review the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.

After our trek, you are welcome to enjoy the trails during Wilderness Access Day: Black Star Canyon. To help speed along the registration/check-in process, you are encouraged to also register for Wilderness Access Day: Black Star Canyon.
