The Flowers and Rare Plants of the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks

Interpretive

Join us on a moderate hike to search for the spectacular flowers of the historic Irvine Ranch. This amazing landscape has been deemed biologically and geologically significant and has the honor of being a National Natural Landmark and California Natural Landmark. Our trail route has potential for some rare plants that are only seen in a very few places and, with a little luck, they may be in full bloom. Dress for the weather and bring water.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-3 activity on the land.
