Exploring Bommer Canyon: History of Bommer Canyon

Join us on a hike through history back to when Bommer Canyon was the center of a historic Cattle Ranch. We will learn about the rich history of the area and all of those who used to call this place home. This is a 2.5 mile interpretive hike with 600 feet of elevation. Please come prepared with closed-toe shoes, water, and anything medications you might need to be safe on the trails.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.

This program occurs concurrently with the monthly Wilderness Access Day. The trails will be available for self-guided access from 8am until 2pm.
