Irvine Lake Nature Hike

Interpretive

Join us for a 2.5 mile hike along the west shore of Irvine Lake where we’ll keep an eye out for wintering migratory birds and take in some of the views surrounding Orange County’s largest lake. A $5 parking fee is required upon entering Irvine Lake. Hikers are encouraged to bring their own binoculars.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-3 activity on the land.

Please come prepared with plenty (50 oz) of water, closed-toe shoes are required, sun protection such as a hat and sunscreen. We suggest a sturdy day pack with anything you might need to keep healthy on the trail. Please read our Trail Tips and FAQ for additional information to prepare you for this activity.
