
IRC Volunteers are needed to support an outreach booth for UC, Irvine’s Spring Fiesta for their Earth Day celebrations on Saturday, April 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. IRC Volunteers are needed to provide an engaging experience at our booth, offering information about adjacent open space with City of Irvine’s Bommer Canyon and Quail Hill as well as opportunities in other locations such as City of Newport Beach and OC Parks.
- Location: 1083 California Avenue, Irvine
- IRC provides: outreach booth display set ups, tablecloths, interpretive material, handouts, wagon
- UCI provides: space is inside a community room, table and chairs, no canopy needed
- Audience: University Hills residents, staff on campus, typically over 2,000 attendees
- Timing: arrive by 8 a.m. to unload and set up by 9 a.m.; event ends at 1:30 p.m. for departure
- Parking: it looks like it is only street parking; will coordinate with event staff to see how to unload gear as it gets closer
