This is a volunteer-only activity.
The West Loma site in Limestone Canyon is the original sit in Orange County for Saharan Mustard. While the Saharan Mustard has been successfully eradicated at this site grading during the Bond Fire created an outlying population of mustard that needs to be removed.
This stewardship will require some bending/kneeling/sitting. The total distance of the hike for this program is approximately 1 mile, but note that sections of the terrain is moderately challenging and good balance and fitness is needed. All training and tools will be provided, although bringing a pair of personal gloves is recommended. We hope you can join us and continue the work to remove Saharan Mustard in Limestone Canyon..
