Death is celebrated in the midst of life during the Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos. The land of the living opens their doors to the departed to rest their weary bones by the hearth before returning to the land of the dead. This festive event is filled with color celebrations for those who have passed.
During our Día de los Muertos program, we will hear the history of this celebration, learn about various native animal skulls, and make our own clay sugar animal skull to decorate and take home. Come early to explore the park; stay late to enjoy the program!
Space is limited due to craft materials. Program is free though there is a Park Entrance Fee per entry vehicle.
