Come out to Carbon Canyon Regional Park to help Ranger Eric Rubery on his Ranger Lead Interpretive Hike to Southern California’s largest Redwood grove!
Hike is approximately 2 1/2 miles round-trip from the east end of the park, Parking Lot 5. The hike is relatively easy along our Nature and Redwood Trails. There are a couple of short, but steep hills and some areas of soft sand along the trail.
Crowds from the public range in size from two or three to over 50 – there is no “official” sign-up for the hike, so we never know exactly how many will show.
Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, water and good, sturdy boots.
