Wildflower Showcase: Afternoon Session

Special Events
Wildflower Showcase: Afternoon Session

Come see some amazing Orange County native wildflowers in bloom!

The O.C. Chapter of the California Native Plant Society and the Irvine Ranch Conservancy invite you to an informal open house at the Conservancy’s Native Seed Farm. This event is a great way to see some blooms and learn more about how the OC California Native Plant Society (OC-CNPS) and the Conservancy are conserving, protecting, and restoring native wildflowers in Orange County.

You will get to stroll through the flower beds and hear about the plants right at your feet! There will be talks on various local engagement opportunities, including information about field trips and upcoming special events.

The Conservancy’s 8-acre native seed farm currently grows almost 50 local plant species, each providing seed used to support ecological restoration in Orange County. There will be brief presentations at the beginning of the event from OC-CNPS and Conservancy staff, and then guests are invited to stroll the grounds at their own pace, or join a guided walking tour.

If you enjoy learning about native wildflowers this event is for you! Please bring items to keep you healthy and safe in an outdoor setting.
